Item Description
Pair of 13-1/8x27.5" paper posters for bullfighting events that took place at the Plaza de Toros in Palma de Mallorca, the capital and largest city of the Balearic Islands in Spain. All text in Spanish and each poster features different art image of bullfight by same artist whose name appears to be Saavedra. First is dated May 4, 1952 and lists matadors Marimen Ciamar, Manolo Carmona, Chaves Flores and Pablo Lozano. Second poster is dated July 6, 1952 and lists matadors Manolo Gonzalez, Miquel Báez Litri and Manuel Capetillo. Both have horizontal fold at center w/pin holes/staple holes at corners and even moderate aging. First poster shows moderate wear w/1" corner piece off upper left and .5" piece out of upper right margin. VG. Second poster shows less wear and is Fine overall.
