Item Description
First is matching pair of very unusual rings with oval celluloid portraits on the top. The Hoover is Hake #2104 and the Smith is #2096. Each has silvered brass base although most silvering is off the Smith. The Hoover has a smooth oval band around the celluloid whereas on the Smith the band has a saw-tooth edge. The Hoover ring is essentially Mint while the Smith is Fine although the celluloid insert displays Mint. The next pair feature silver brass bands with rectangular enamel panels on the top. "Hoover 1928" is Hake #2105 and "Al Smith 1928" is Hake #2097. Hoover band has very slight bend to it seen only from the side. The Smith ring is NM displaying Mint. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
