Item Description
Original "Official War Poster" envelope contains 28x40" OWI poster #8 published by US Government Printing Office #0-488341, 1942. Graphics feature image of raised arms of soldier and two workers (man and woman), holding rifle and tools by David Stone Martin. Text reads "Strong In The Strength Of The Lord We Who Fight In The People's Cause Will Never Stop Until That Cause Is Won." Folded as issued, poster has some small creases at fold crease intersections, but is o/w Exc. Envelope is addressed to International Chain & Mfg. Co. of York, PA and edge wear w/moderate creases.
