Item Description
8.5x11" issue #10 of "Sledgehammer Press" from 1985. This publication had a limited print run and was distributed exclusively by Important Record Distributors, Inc. 36 page bw music magazine focusing primarily on speed and thrash metal. Front cover photo of James Hetfiled giving the finger. Front cover boldly signed in silver ink by James, Lars Ulrich and the late, great Cliff Burton (1962-1986). One band member also added "Urp" coming out of the mouth of the Slayer "Wehrmacht" skull image at top right. Features a three page interview w/Lars along w/eight photos. Kirk Hammett has signed across pages 3-4 in black ink. Interview includes mention of their Ride The Lightning album and their signing to Elektra Records. Lt. aging and handling wear but a VF copy. Signed pieces by this definitive Metallica line up are highly sought after and this is almost certainly a one of a kind item. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
