Item Description
Pair of checks signed by two actors who portrayed The Lone Ranger. 3x8.25" Oxford Savings Bank check No. 2995 has been dated Oct. 12, 1964 and was made out for $56 by Brace Beemer, a radio actor/announcer at Detroit radio station WXYZ, becoming "The Lone Ranger" announcer soon after its first broadcast in 1933 and also appeared in costume as The Lone Ranger in public. Beemer was the voice of The Lone Ranger from 1941 to the last episode in Sept. 1954. Check has been signed in blue ink and bears cancellation punches and stamp of front. Vertical fold at center. VF. 2.75x6" First National Bank check No. 655 has been made out to Lone Ranger actor Clayton Moore for $8. Moore has signed reverse of check twice in black felt tip pen and blue ink. Cancellation stamps on front. Vertical fold at center. VF. Comes with Hake's COA and PSA/DNA COA and LOA.
