Item Description
Very large and impressive self-framed 45.75x70" tin litho advertising sign w/wooden frame on reverse. Sign features classic 1950s styling w/image of woman's legs beside "Exquisite Hosiery" text. Bottom portion has "V-Stores" name and "V-Stores - Quality Checked - Value" logo. Text, V-Stores logo and woman's legs are all embossed. Holes at corners w/two small 1/8" holes just below center as used to attach wooden board brace on reverse. There is a third hole, but it has been capped as produced. Lower left has 3" wide indent and edges have scattered wear w/some bare metal showing at corner edges. Raised "Gay Stride Nylons" text shows some scattered wear. 4.5" long impression line/dent underneath first three letters of "Exquisite." Fine overall, but still very nice for display.
