Item Description
7.25x8.75x1-1/8" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains five books issued by Cupples & Leon in 1934. Box has some creases along left/right sides of lid and some scattered age spotting/aging, but remains tight and Fine overall. Set of five softcover books are each 6.75x8.5" w/32 bw pages of comic strip reprints. Titles include - "Little Orphan Anne, Reg'lar Fellers, Smitty, Harold Teen" and "Dick Tracy And Dick Tracy Jr. And How They Captured 'Stooge' Viller." These softcovers are abbreviated versions of the hardcover editions issued by Cupples & Leon. Books have trace staple staining and some minor cover aging and corner tip wear to a few, but all covers remains bright and clean w/clean white pages. Covers are VF/Exc. w/NM pages. A nice set w/wonderful specialty cover art.
