Item Description
16x17.5x41" tall wire rack for Dell Comics. c. 1940s. Front of rack has 5.75x15.75" thin metal attachment w/"A Dell Comic" logo and "Ask For These Dell Comics" (other versions had this text in red, this example has black text) going on to list "Looney Tunes, Walt Disney, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Lone Ranger, Tom & Jerry, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Porky Pig, Little Lulu, Bugs Bunny" and other titles (titles changing from display to display). Back of metal display has text "Property Of Dell Publishing Co., Inc., N.Y. On Loan For The Display Of Dell Comics Only" text. Back of this metal sheet has scattered surface oxidation but not visible when viewed from front. Wire rack has trace of oxidation but Fine overall. This is a different variety of a rack similar to the one we sold in our May 2010 auction. Great for displaying your comic collection.
