Vintage 8x10" sepia tone photo w/"Murray" studio mark at lower left shows great portrait image of Douglas Fairbanks Sr. (1883-1939), a Hollywood legend integral in the development of the Hollywood movie business, acting as a co-founder of the United Artists film studio and one of the original 36 founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Photo features wonderful pensive image of Fairbanks, who has signed in black ink "To E.O. Halley - Best Wishes From Douglas Fairbanks - 1923." Photo has some even lt. aging and lt. margin wear, but none too distracting. Displays VF. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
