Item Description
High quality 23-3/8x34-1/8" Arches paper lithograph featuring "Joker" playing card design w/center showing Batman villain The Joker holding marionettes of Batman and Robin. Printed by Circle Fine Art Corporation for The American Atelier in a numbered edition of 300 in 1978, this example has been hand-numbered "243/300" in pencil and has been boldly signed in pencil by Batman creator Bob Kane at lower right. ©1978 DC Comics. Comes w/both issued facts sheets, one w/edition information, the other w/Kane biography and photo. Sheets are evenly aged and show handling wear. Fine overall. Lithograph has some even lt. aging (more moderate along extreme margins) but is o/w VF/Exc. Rarely offered for sale, even less so w/both papers.
