Item Description
1951 Post Toasties premium, rather than the Power House candy bar version. Ring bands have "Flying" on one side plus atomic symbol and stars while opposite side reads "Saucer" with space ship and stars. Top holds launching spinner with a replaced cord. Comes with pair of "Flying Saucer" disks each about 2" in diameter. Normally one of these is aluminum for daytime use while the other is luminous for becoming a "Night-Flying Saucer" according to the instructions. With this ring both saucers are the glow-in-dark metal variety and both glow brightly. The ring itself is essentially Mint with brilliant silver luster and complete red paint on the wheel that spins. About five times scarcer than the brass base version.
