Item Description
This premium came from Power House candy c. 1950 featuring a brass base with four small prongs holding a domed plastic cover over a real photo without dot pattern of Richard Coogan holding a large futuristic space gun in his role as Captain Video. Brass base is clean but was not made with particularly glossy luster. Brass base is slightly less than perfectly circular with a very slight bend on one top side brass rib which supports the upper disk. Most importantly, the domed plastic is free of all surface wear which allows the photo beneath to appear as sharp and clear as when the ring was originally issued. These domes are often cloudy or include stress lines in the plastic. Overall a VF example with the top displaying Mint.
