Item Description
Lot of 13 pieces consisting of 4-7/8" tall figural teapot (w/Mickey Mouse head lid), 4" tall figural sugar container (w/Mickey head lid), 3.5" tall figural creamer, five 3-5/8" dia. saucers and single 1-3/8" tall by 2.25" dia. teacup from one tea set and four pieces from two othersimilar tea sets. These include two 4" tall figural teapots (both w/Mickey head lids and in slightly different style/color), 3" tall sugar (w/Mickey head lid) and 2.5" tall figural creamer that match one teapot. Aside from two teapots marked "Made In Japan" on undersides and Japanese text on undersides of other set's teapot, sugar and creamer, rest remain unmarked. 1930s. Saucers and cup feature same full body Mickey image showing him w/rifle. Scattered aging/wear, Fine-VF overall. Great design and very attractive w/iridescent glaze. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
