Item Description
Two-piece celluloid toys attached to wheeled painted tin platforms. Unmarked but made in Japan by Kuramochi, 1930s. Mary stands 6.5" tall (on wheeled base) and has arms jointed at shoulders. Built-in key in Mary's base. Lamb measures 2-5/8x3-3/8" long  w/separate bobbing head. Lamb is attached by string to Mary's hand and wind-up mechanism works well, Mary traveling in circles pulling lamb. Concentric axle on lamb's platform causes bobbing head to move up and down. Lamb's rear leg has 3/8" opening that appears as a crack, but this is as produced. Rest of celluloid remains free of cracks/dents. Mary's arms have been restrung. VF/Exc. overall.
