Item Description
First is 1.75" reading "Baltimore Colts Y.A. Tittle." Tittle began his long and outstanding career with the Colts in 1948 and was with the team through 1950. NM displaying Mint. Next is 2.75" oval with date of the historic 1958 NFL Championship Game. Button reads "I'm A Colt/December 28/1958." Button was likely worn by Colt fans making the journey from Baltimore to Yankee Stadium in New York City. This was the 26th NFL championship game and it was the first playoff game to go into sudden death overtime. The final score was Colts 23/Giants 17 and the game has since become widely known as "The Greatest Game Every Played." Cello has a few scattered pinpoint darker dots on the white background but overall appearance remains very clean and with full gloss. Fine. Rare. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
