Item Description
These 25 buttons are 1.25" up to 1.75". Fifteen of these buttons are the photo plate examples from the Muchinsky book all shown on page 78 of section H. The other ten are additions acquired after the book was published. In addition there is a 4.75" triangular patch from the 1930s. The largest buttons picturing a young boy are from the "Buffalo Baseball Club" and span the years 1925-1931. Specifying Minneapolis are the years 1927, 1929, 1930, 1932, 1933, and 1934. Single buttons name Louisville 1931 (this has a long horizontal hairline crack) and one undated button for Milwaukee. The 1.25" buttons do not name a specific city but cover the years: 1934-1942 plus 1945. In addition to the one button with a hairline crack, six others show small to moderate traces of age stain or a tiny rub mark. Overall condition of most is VF to Exc. An outstanding collection that was years in the making.
