Item Description
Buttons are 1.25" to 2.25". Attachments include baseballs of compressed paper, plastic, celluloid or tin. There are also two wooden bats, one plastic bat, one cloth and cello baseball player and two leather catchers' mitts and a fielders glove. Items are largely from the 1930s into the 1950s with perhaps one or two from the 1960s. Buttons name the teams Phila. Athletics, Detroit Tigers, "Official" with wooden bat reading "St. Louis Browns/Bogalusa, 1921", Senators, four for the Yankees, three for the Orioles, and two for Cleveland. Tiny bit of age on the "Official" button but all others are Exc. to NM. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
