Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 9.75" tall tin litho wind-up (w/rubber nose and hands) depicting popular manga/anime giant robot character Tetsujin 28-go (better known in the US as Gigantor). Back has translucent red plastic jet pack that allows for viewing of sparks. On/off switch on chest. Produced by the Osaka Tin Toy Institute in the 1990s, box lid features great illustration of Tetsujin 28-go while side panels feature image of main character Shotaro Kaneda controlling his robot friend via remote control. Box comes w/three cardboard inserts, registration card and Tin Age Collection folder w/membership card featuring image of image of robot. Box is Exc./NM. Toy comes w/separate key in original sealed bag. Rubber nose has slight production flaw, but this is as made and is o/w NM, old store stock.
