Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 7x8.5x4.5" tall egg-shaped tin litho toy w/egg-shaped clear plastic dome over recessed control area holding all tin litho spaceman from waist up w/one arm on lever and pair of red plastic light covers. Made in Japan by TM/Modern Toys, 1960s. This is first version box featuring graphics on all sides of lid, including one graphic explaining toy's functions. Box is complete w/insert. One side panel of lid has inked prices crossed out in pencil and opposite side panel has 2.5" tear w/tape repair to interior. Despite this, box still displays VF. Toy's functions include - flashing lights, non-stop action, loud clicking noise and spaceman's arm moves lever. Works. Toy has some minor wear to top of cockpit bubble and a few tiny paint nicks, but still Exc. overall.
