Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 11.5" long tin litho/hard plastic toy made in Japan by Nomura/TN, c. 1969. Box features images of lunar landing and has scattered edge creasing, corner tip wear and slight inward warp to box lid. Complete w/die-cut cardboard insert. Fine overall. Nicely designed toy is marked "Apollo-Z" and "United States." Three embossed tin litho astronauts under plastic nose cone. As stated on box, actions include - "Automatic Stop And Go - Elevates With Extending Command Ship - Blinking Lights - Jet Sound." All work. Hard plastic radar antenna has been professionally repaired and as such toy now displays NM.
