Item Description
Lot of eight, including three hardcovers. Includes #2-4, 6-8 (1972-1974, 1976-1978). Numbers 4, 6-7 each come w/matching hardcover editions. Cover artists include Don Newton (Justice Society of America), Will Eisner ("The Spirit Of 76"), Carl Barks (Porky Pig) and Bill Ward (Torchy cover saluting "Women In Comics," featuring Phantom Lady, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Sheena and others). Each has had title page signed in ink by Bob Overstreet. 1972 Guide has age spotting to spine and back cover w/moderate color rubs to front cover. Fine. 1973 Guide has some spine rippling but is o/w Exc. Both 1974 Guides have some lt. spine wear and are VF overall. 1976 hardcover Guide has some scattered cover dust soiling and is VF/Exc. 1977 softcover Guide has some minor color rubs on back cover but is o/w Exc. as is hardcover Guide. 1978 Guide has moderate corner creasing and is Fine overall.
