Item Description
8.5x11". The document titled "Declaration Of Independence Of The Czechoslovak Nation By Its Provisional Government" was drafted in Washington D.C. as the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire appeared imminent. The present example is signed at the conclusion "T. G. Masaryk" who authored the draft and would become the first President of Czechoslovakia. Small hole at top left originally made to keep papers together. Pair of less than .5" separations at right side of each page along horizontal fold lines and a 1/8" chip at lower right on page six. Otherwise only handling wear. Fine. Rare. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA/LOA.
