The 1986 New York Mets season was their 25th season in the NL. They improved to finish the season w/a franchise record 108-54 record, giving them the division title. They went on to defeat the Houston Astros in six games in the NLCS and the AL champion Boston Red Sox in seven games in the World Series. This is their last championship to date. Offered here is a Rawlings "Official Ball 1986 World Series" ball w/23 signatures from the 1986 New York Mets. Signatures are in blue ink. Key players include - Hall of Famer Gary Carter; other key players include - Keith Hernandez, Ron Darling, Lenny Dykstra, Mookie Wilson, George Foster, Sid Fernandez, Howard Johnson, Ray Knight, Davey Johnson and Dwight Gooden, who signed "Doc."
