Item Description
Leather gimp tie w/silver luster metal bullets tips and 1.25x2.5" leather holster bolo slide w/included 2-7/8" long cast metal gun w/pearl plastic grips. Holster slide has baseball and "Houston Colt .45s" in gold lettering. The Houston Astros were established as the Houston Colt .45s and entered the NL in 1962 along w/the expansion New York Mets. The current name was adopted three years later. They played in Colt Stadium 1962-1964, during which time this bolo tie was issued. NM. Scarce neat design for this short-lived team name.
