Item Description
From same series as previous item #2365, originally issued in 1964 as part of the "Hamilton Invaders" series of Remco toys that were later converted into Star Trek items to capitalize on the show's popularity. 6x12.25x4.75" box has original price sticker remnants on right end flap and is evenly aged. Top side panel has 2" area of staining/aging. Fine overall. Set originally came w/three soft red plastic generic army men, this example has had figures substituted w/Hamilton's Invaders blue figures; though figures match those shown on box label. One figure has base cracks and is VG while others are Exc. Original red plastic driver figure under bubble below shell-firing gun (which comes w/single 1" plastic shell) on 9.5" long vehicle. Star Trek federation symbol sticker on front of Astrocruiser has some age spotting but o/w set is Exc. A desirable item from the show's initial airing. All items from this line are rare, especially as boxed. First we've offered.
