Item Description
10.25x20" illustrated cardboard display features image of popular manga/anime giant robot character Tetsujin 28-go (better known in the US as Gigantor) and his young human friend Shotaro Kaneda and police Inspector Ootsuka. Display contains complete amount of 12 toy watches on illustrated cards featuring two different images of Tetsujin 28-go. Watches have 1-3/8x1-5/8" tin cases and original fabric elastic bands. Watch dials are printed paper, featuring two different images of Tetsujin 28-go; close-up portrait (6) and flying (6). Made in Japan by Popy for the Japanese market, 1970s. Display has heavy horizontal crease above carded watches and some corner tip wear. Fine/VF overall. Watches/cards are Exc. overall. Rare store display.
