Item Description
Issued for same event as previous item #1982. Offered her is 9.25x11.75" folder w/classic image of Lone Ranger riding Silver in simulated rope frame design w/"The Lone Ranger" text at top. Front has been boldly signed "Clayton Moore - Lone Ranger" in black felt tip pen. Folder contains typed press releases on "News From The Lone Ranger 25th Silver Anniversary 1933-1958" letterhead, which features small repeat image of Lone Ranger riding Silver. These include "Lone Ranger Diary," release concerning "The Lone Ranger And The City Of Lost Gold" film, law enforcement and the Lone Ranger, release concerning Tonto "America's Most Favorite Indian," advertising, etc. as well as "The Lone Ranger Creed" which has been signed in black felt tip pen by Moore. Also comes w/two glossy 8x10" publicity photos showing Lone Ranger and Silver and Lone Ranger and Tonto. Folder shows some scattered aging/handling wear and is Fine overall. Contents are Exc. Both signatures were obtained in-person by the consignor and comes with Hake's COA. Kit is very rare, the first we've seen in our 49 years and most certainly the only in existence signed by Moore.
