Item Description
5.5x8.5" issue of "TV Digest" for week of Oct. 29, 1949 features image of Lone Ranger on Silver and has "Hi-Yo Silver, Awaay" article within. Scarce Philadelphia regional publication. Front cover has been boldly signed in black felt tip pen by Lone Ranger actor Clayton Moore, who added "Lone Ranger" name. Some scattered handling wear w/spine rubs. Fine/VF overall. Comes w/8.5x11" typed letter on "The Lone Ranger Inc." letterhead w/same image of Lone Ranger on Silver as "TV Digest." Letter is dated June 9, 1949 and is from company president and Lone Ranger co-creator George Trendle. Letter thanks fan for photo and interest in Lone Ranger program. Letter has two horizontal fold lines as mailed and has three additional vertical fold lines. Top center fold crease intersection shows heavy wear w/holes. VG. Lot comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
