Item Description
14-5/8x22x4.5" deep box contains multi-component "Fascinating Robot" w/"The Head And Limbs Of The King Of The Beasts. When Pulled Apart, He Becomes Five Colorful Lions." Released as part of Bandai America's "Godaikin" line of "Innovative Series Of Super Robots" released in 1982. Based on the Japanese super robot anime "Beast King GoLion" which would later be edited for American audiences and released as "Voltron: Defender Of The Universe," garnering a spot as a 1980s pop culture icon and enjoying popularity that continues to this day. Robot comes in cardboard box and robot, weapons and accessories are contained in original Styrofoam insert w/die-cut cardboard cover w/printed text. Comes w/illustrated instruction folder. and comes w/"King Sword, Space Cutter" as well as separate weapons for each individual lion and two thin plastic cases containing plastic missiles for firing from spring-loaded launchers on backs of lions. These remain factory-sealed. Box shows lt. scattered wear and is VF overall. Contents remain Mint as packaged. Old store stock.
