Item Description
1.25" real photo celluloid mounted on 1-7/8" stickpin. The tin reverse has thin layer of brown oxidation but the celluloid remains glossy and NM displaying Mint. Button was issued "March 11, 1916" for event "2nd Bazaar For Benefit Of Widows & Orphans Of The Central Powers." Pictured clockwise from top left are Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany, King Franz Joseph of Austria/Hungary, Saltan Mehmed V of the Ottoman Empire, and the fourth person we believe is the Commander In Chief of the Bulgarian army Nikola Zhekov. A rare stickpin issued for use in America prior to our entry into the war.
