Item Description
Group begins with three buttons for Nixon, 1960. These include 1.25" jugate, 2.5" jugate and a 3" litho. Exc. Next from 1968 are a matched pair of scarce real photo jugates in the 1.25" size for Humphrey and Nixon. The curls of these carry copyright of Trimble and are specifically designated "Photo Button". Issued in only a small quantity. NM. Third in this group is the classic "HHH Fills The Prescription". This is the 1968 Trimble original and not a knock off with HHH in a lighter blue jacket. NM. Fourth in this group is "Nixon's The One." This is 2". NM. Next is a group of four Reagan/Bush and Mondale/Ferraro buttons. There are all uncommon. The 3.5" "New Jersey Small Business Owners" has raised bump upper right caused by reverse bar pin but this is clean and the other three are NM displaying Mint. Last is a group of five cause buttons. This includes beautifully colored 1.25" with Miss Liberty holding giant flag surrounded by text "A Stainless Flag/A Saloonless Country." Issued in 1913 for "15th National Convention Anti-Saloon League Of America." This button was once suspended by a ribbon now gone and reverse holds standard spring pin. Next is scarce dated "NRA" button also naming "Reading's Celebration". Curl holds flag and reverse has Keystone back paper. Next are two Vietnam War opposition buttons, one with initials for group "S.P.U." and the other for group "SMC." Last is a button from 1983 for "National Women's History Week." All NM displaying Mint with small exceptions noted.
