Item Description
Three buttons are 1.25" and the larger is 2-1/16" although this may once have been a pocket mirror. There is no glass on the reverse and a standard spring pin is beneath the collet. First, with W&H back paper, is real photo of "The 'Saratoga Limited' June 23rd, 1900 New York Central." One light scratch towards the top catches reflected light but button displays glossy and Mint. Next is for convention of "Traveling Passenger Agents/Norfolk, VA. Oct. 10, 1900." First seen. NM. Next with Torsch & Franz, Baltimore paper is a beautiful one day color button from 1909 for the Baltimore and Ohio employees annual outing. Collet holds a pair of short ribbons. Touch of oxidation on metal parts of the reverse but the celluloid remains Mint. Last is gorgeous color button showing speeding steam locomotive in a western scene with mountains and waterfall surrounded by text "There Is Something To See/Along The Frisco Line." NM.
