Item Description
The four smaller buttons are 1.25" to 2.25". The largest of these is for "American Legion National Convention Portland Oregon/Official Pacific Ocean Beach Trip/Host/Wild Waves And Mermaids." Fairly large but essentially trivial shallow dent on the right side. Next is for "Roseburg Carnival 1919 showing both a strawberry and a fish. Back paper by Irwin-Hodson. Next with same back paper is for "Third Streeters/The Great Light Way." Probably for a city event c. 1920. Next at 1.5" is for Elk's event in "Portland 1912." Last is the giant 6" celluloid with wood grain cardboard back and inset piece of metal holding a bar pin. Issued by a lodge with text "Portland 142-B.P.O.E." C. 1915. All five are NM displaying Mint. However, we just noticed tiny hole on bottom edge of the 1912 Portland button indicating there was once some type of suspension. All are rare.
