Item Description
Lot of ten items, including five glossy 8x10" photos. Issued in 1969, "The Butterfly Net" fan club features Iron Butterfly's classic line-up - Ron Bushy, Doug Ingle, Keith Ellis and Lee Dorman - and was issued between their third and fourth albums. Lot includes 11.75x12" hardcover photo book designed to look like an LP album. Pages are loose from spine, but all is complete. Scattered margin/corner tip wear and aging. Fine. Typed letter to super fan dated Dec. 2, 1969 regards her concern for Iron Butterfly's drummer, as club president notes he "Always Plays His Drums Hard To Get The Full Effect." Letter also mentions upcoming album ("Metamorphosis"). Signed by club president. Margins have scattered tape staining as displayed on wall/in scrapbook. VG. Vellum membership certificate has also been signed by club president. Moderate aging w/some corner wear as displayed. Fine/VF. Lot also includes two holiday cards specially printed for club members, w/band member names printed inside. One comes w/original mailing envelope. Scattered wear as displayed. Fine. The five glossy photos feature individual band member images for all four (each having been signed in red ink; two addressed to club member by name) and group photo that has been signed by Bushy and Dorman. Photos have some edge/corner tip wear as displayed but could be framed for VF/Exc. display. Unique lot. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
