Item Description
Lot consists of complete 10 oz. "Kellogg's Pep Wheat Flakes" cereal box w/ad on front featuring Superman using "Superman's Space Satellite Launcher With 2 Satellites" premium. Premium was issued in 1956. Back of box features image of launcher gun and another image of Superman using premium. Box shows obvious wear and has some moderate scattered restoration, but front/back panels remain nice for display. Good/VG. Box is scarce. Comes w/original cardboard mailer box containing 3" long hard plastic spring-loaded gun and two 2" dia. standard plastic saucers. Gun has "Superman" name on one side w/"Space Satellite" text along w/Superman's "S" symbol on the other. Manufactured by Parks Plastic Co. w/National Comics Publication Inc. copyright. Top of gun has attached simulated scope. Gun shows lt. wear but is o/w Exc. Comes w/illustrated instruction sheet/order form for more "Superman Satellites." Folded as issued. Fine/VF. Mailer box shows some lt. wear from mailing but is complete. Original mailing label is aged and has .75" tear. Fine. Scarce premium as complete w/paper and in this condition.
