Item Description
10x12" sheet of animation paper w/blocked 3-7/8x5.25" image area in lead pencil w/centaurette washing her face in rock pool. This concept was designed for the "Pastoral Symphony" segment of Disney's 1940 animated musical feature "Fantasia," but this scene was ultimately not featured in the film. Art is wonderfully detailed and expressive. Sheet has even lt. aging and top center has some pin holes and tiny pinpoint age spots. Faint diagonal crease along top margin, which has three strips of paper tape at top on reverse. Sheet is Fine overall, but art remains clean. Would display Exc. if matted and framed. Wonderful expressive design.
