Item Description
Original cardboard mailer contains hard plastic ring w/three-dimensional rocket-shaped top, complete w/keychain, designed w/"Crystal Clear Intensifier, Supersonic Whistle, Luminous Astro-Navigation Map, Secret Compartment." The tiny map showing constellation Big Dipper inside ring top still glows. 1952. Mailer is complete w/address label w/typed recipient address. Scattered aging/wear. Fine. Premium is complete w/uncut four-panel bw filmstrip w/images titled "Major Mars, The Venutians, F80 Shooting Star, Flying Wing." Other film scenes could be obtained via order form. Also comes w/three strips of light-sensitive paper to "print" images via sunlight exposure. Paper is no longer light sensitive. Comes w/original "Light-Proof Envelope" that held light-sensitive paper and illustrated ring instruction folder, which shows some scattered handling wear and is Fine. Ring and filmstrip are NM as issued. Exceedingly rare 100% complete, our last such example sold for $1,075.
