Item Description
Kit includes original window envelope w/"Supermen Of America" address and special stamp noting change in DC Comics logo, 5.5x8.5" welcome letter noting contents of kit and featuring classic image of Superman breaking chains, 5.5x8-5/8" cardstock "Superman's Secret Code" folder, 1.25" dia. club button w/NCP, Inc. copyright and 8.5x10-7/8" certificate w/typed name/address. Horizontal fold at center as mailed. This certificate differs in that it features 1957 copyright at bottom and mentions "Action Comics" and "Superman" at end (as does welcome letter). Certificate is numbered "478245" at lower right. While code folder features 1955 copyright date, it was issued w/this 1957 certificate. Envelope shows expected wear from mailing while all else remains bright, clean and VF-Exc. Franco Toscanini Collection.
