Rawlings Official AL (MacPhail) baseball has been signed in black ink by 29 members of the 1983 Chicago White Sox. The team won the AL West that year and it was their first postseason appearance since the 1959 World Series. Ball has been signed on sweet spot by HOF member and Manager Tony LaRussa and has also been signed by HOF member Carlton Fisk. Other key players who have signed include - Greg Luzinski, Dick Tidrow, Richard Dotson, LaMarr Hoyt, Floyd Bannister, Ron Kittle, Aurelio Rodriguez and Harold Baines as well as Juan Agosto, Salomé Barojas, Britt Burns, Dennis Lamp, Marc Hill, Julio Cruz, Jerry Dybzinski, Vance Law, Tom Paciorek, Mike Squires, Greg Walker, Miguel Diloné, Jerry Hairston, Rudy Law, Dave Stegman, Ed Brinkman, Dave Duncan, Art Kusnyer and Jim Layland. Ball has also has "83 Chicago" inked above "Official Ball American League" text on sweet spot. Ball has scattered minor aging and signatures show just trace wear. Fine/VF.
