Item Description
The first of these large 6" buttons reads "We're No. 1 Yankees" dating c. mid 1960s with very tiny text along bottom edge "Made In Hong Kong." Button consists of two very thin sheets of tin with the lithographed front having a thin edge that wraps around a tin reverse sheet with a pair of circular cutouts at the center holding a safety pin fastener. Because of the thinness of the metal the front sheet is prone to denting and there are several small indentations although only minimal paint wear and mostly the extreme outer edge from 6-9 o'clock. Colors remain exceptionally bright and the piece has its full gloss. VF. This is item #57 on page #184. Next is cello button with cardboard easel back as well as a  bar pin. This one reads "New York Yankees Vs. Los Angeles Dodgers 1977 World Series." Normal and slight surface wear shows only in reflected light. This is item #377 from page #530. Exc. and displays Mint. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
