Item Description
First is a 4" tall badge consisting of a silvered brass hanger at the top with incised inscription "Harrison & Morton 1888." This has lost most of its silver flashing so majority is a brass tone. Reverse has horizontal pin. From each corner a pair of loops holds link chain joined to a loop on a muted silver metallic large tassel. Rare and Fine. The second piece is 2-5/8" tall with ornate brass hanger showing shield, flag, olive spray and other elements with brass bar pin on reverse and tiny prongs suspending fabric ribbon joined to a brass shell. Ribbon colors are darkened but not spotted. The shell has lost a good bit of luster and has small corrosion traces but the cardboard photo of Harrison at the center remains in nice condition with only minor age traces. First example we've seen. VG. Ted Watts Collection.
