Item Description
5.75x14" sheet of artboard has been matted to 5-1/8x12-7/8" and features pencil concept sketch original art by legendary EC Comics and "MAD" artist Wally Wood for unused logo idea. 1960s. Logo features similar lettering to that still in use today and has over a dozen characters interspersed throughout, including children, animals, two-faced alien, ship captain and busty woman among others. Blue pencil signature at bottom right. Right side of artboard has uneven edge and upper right has 1" tear. Scattered dust soiling. Fine/VF overall.
