Item Description
Three thin artboards, measuring approx. 12x16.75" w/pen and ink original art by Tony Tallarico, a cartoonist who drew primarily for Charlton Comics and Dell Comics, including, for the latter, the comic book Lobo, the first to star an African-American. Art was published in the Nov. 1976 issue of "Crazy" magazine #21 and each sheet has aged overlay attached at top. Written by Anita Goldwasser, cartoon features proliferation of advertising from everywhere to school to the park, at baseball games and all over a neighborhood, w/slogans becoming more and more pervasive as the cartoon goes on. All dialogue text are printed paste-overs. Some lt. scattered aging around some paste-overs, but art is o/w clean and Exc.
