Item Description
Pair of approx. 14x22" thin cardboard window cards both feature gorilla graphics and date to the 1970s. Interestingly, both feature promotional text for "Kongo - Largest Gorilla On Tour" and each features gorilla portrait. One is depicted as rather affable and calm while other features a savage, snarling gorilla. Nice gorilla card has even aging and scattered staple holes at corners and along margins. VG. Other card has some scattered age spots at upper right and staple holes along left/right sides are less noticeable (though those to left of Kongo's face do stand out from red bkg.). VG/Fine. Comes w/28x42" poster featuring same angry Kongo image as window card w/circus name. Poster has been rolled and is not specific to any performance and shows scattered margin handling wear. VF overall and would look nice framed.
