Item Description
15.5" tall. Ideal, 1938. Multiple size/style Snow White dolls were produced that year by not only Ideal, but also Knickerbocker and Krueger. Ideal made this doll in two versions, this is version w/oilcloth head/arms/shoes (w/stockings) whereas other version features composition head/arms. Both came in this same style dress which is cotton w/silk-screened images of the Dwarfs along w/their names, forest animals and cottage facade. One-piece slip/bloomers combination. Original outfit is very nice quality and includes attached blouse and satin bows on dress as well as in hair. Movable head w/face that has detailed painted accents and life-like hair. Arms and legs move as well. Some lt. scattered wear to oilcloth areas and dress imprint is faint though text remains somewhat legible and images are defined. Fine/VF overall.
