Item Description
14-3/8x24.5x4.25" deep painted (red) metal case contains A.C. Gilbert Co. 1959 set No. 10093 12-1/2 that allowed user to build "The Mysterious Walking Robot." Lid has metal fasteners and carry handle. Lid features illustrated label showing two boys building robot w/futuristic city in bkg. Label shows some edge wear w/tears and corner off lower right. VG/Fine overall, though case shows just lt. wear and is VF overall. Underside of lid has wonderful illustrated image showing robot and listing others ideas as to how to utilize set. This has .75" area of surface paper lift at top left, not affecting images of text. VF. Set is complete and unused w/two electric motors and various pieces of hardware and electrical components, including gears, metal wheels and parts to make "Crawlers That Buzz With Action" including "Army Tanks, Bulldozers, Tractors" and more. Set also includes rubber tractor treads and metal scoop bucket for earth-mover. Set also includes plastic missile and stiff paper carousel horses for use w/parts to make revolving carousel. Special feature of set is "Erector Sound Effects Kit" that allowed user to incorporate "Carnival Sound Effects." Aside from some lt. dust soiling, all appears Exc.
