Item Description
13.75x21-5/8" thin cardboard poster for rare two week engagement at New York's world-famous Latin Quarter that took place April 17-30, 1968. Image at upper left of Armstrong w/photo images of Buster Bailey, Danny Barcelona, Tyree Glenn, Marty Napoleon, Buddy Catlett and Jewel Brown. Poster was printed by Murray Poster Printing Co. of New York. Poster shows obvious wear w/11.75" vertical crease at upper right and heavy horizontal crease at center. Bottom margin has moisture staining and upper left corner has .5" piece off. VG overall but rare as this is the last version of a "tour blank" poster Armstrong used for a period of 13 years (1956-1968).
