Item Description
32.5" long felt pennant w/streamers. Early automotive piece, early 1900s and likely displayed at a bicycle or motorcycle race. The Kokomo Rubber Company was founded in 1895. Upon opening, the company was well-known for producing bicycle and automobile tires. However early 1900s advertisements show that Kokomo was avidly manufacturing various types of motorcycle tires as well. This pennant feature detailed and stylized stitched felt lettering. Aside from a few tiny spots of insect damage at tip, pennant remains bright and clean. VF/Exc.
