Item Description
10.5x16.5" thin artboard features artist Jack Kirby's pen and ink original art for page 10 of the Jan. 1974 issue of "The Demon" #16, published by DC Comics. Art by legendary comic book artist Jack "King" Kirby features six panels Glenda Mark being surprised by Morgaine Le Fay colleague Warly. Glenda is seen holding the Philosopher's Stone in five panels. Second to last panel show Warly holding picture frame containing picture of The Demon's human alter-ego Jason Blood. Art has been signed by Kirby in black felt tip pen in first panel. Page has been inked by Mike Royer. Top margin has handwritten production notations including title and inked issue/page number. Top/left/bottom center margins have strip of staining from tape, though not affecting art in any way. Fine/VF overall w/Exc. art.
