Item Description
10.5x16" thin artboard features artist Sal Buscema's pen and ink original art for page 30 of the July 1979 issue of "Incredible Hulk" #237, published by Marvel Comics. Buscema is noted for his work on 1970s issues of "Captain America, Defenders, Incredible Hulk, Marvel Team-Up" and "Spectacular Spider-Man." Eight panel page features Machine Man having bested Hulk, shooting at his feet and launching the Jade Giant into the air as the authorities arrive. Machine Man is featured in all but last panel, w/Hulk appearing in two panels, last panel featuring tiny dot showing Hulk flying towards space. Page has been inked by Jack Abel. Top margin has production notations w/stamped title and inked issue/page number. Bottom has promotional text paste-overs for next issue of "Incredible Hulk" as well as "Machine Man" comics. Top margin has been clipped/trimmed, though not affecting art in any way. Fine/VF overall w/Exc. art.
